Lions!

Panthera leo

Did you notice the Daily Mammal has been on a sort of sabbatical? That was for very good reason: my family has expanded! And in honor of that, today we have not one but THREE lion drawings—by me, my son Theo (age 13), and my daughter Coco (age 10). Can you believe Theo has never drawn with this particular technique? And Coco’s baby lion is adorable, isn’t it? (Click each drawing to see it larger, please!)

Coco’s lion

The Daily Mammal will be back to normal (or some semblance thereof) soon. Perhaps with some new mammalogists!

  1. You may have some pretty stiff competition now! Or, a lot of help! All 3 lions are beautiful. Hope you’re having a wonderful week!

  2. Impressive – If I didn’t know better, I’d say that yours and Theo’s were drawn by the same person. And I love Coco’s Lion’s Whiskers.

  3. Good work. How great to have 2 new artists in the family.

  4. WOW! I love all three lions! We are blessed with more talented artists in the family!
You might need to change the name to the “Family Daily Mammal.”

    Love to all of you!

  5. These are all wonderful. Looks like you’ll have some good assistants now Jenn -or maybe you’ll soon be assisting Coco and Theo. Love to you all.

  6. Sup mom I love our drawings. I am going to stop by Mrs. Mushes room because you cant miss Mrs. Mush’s mushrooms. I can’t wait to see you when you get up. You rock & you are always in my heart ……………I love you so much … & you rock.
