(Lagomorph, boringly, means “hare-shape.”) But I just read in Walker’s Mammals of the World that the lagomorphs used to be considered rodents, so lots of scientists have agreed with you, and you may still be right.
I’m glad you didn’t hate rodents that much when we had 7 tiny pink-eraser baby hamsters.
